This is the second of two oil paintings that were in the Art in the Parks 2012 show, sponsored by Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. It was started as a plein air painting and I added finishing touches in the studio. Size 11 x 14. This painting is available for purchase.

Cerrillos Hills State Park — SOLD

First Place winner in the 2012 Art in the Parks exhibition, this painting was done mostly on location southeast of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The exhibition of 59 paintings by 26 artists is sponsored by Plein Air Painters of New Mexico and runs through December 22 at the New Mexico Art League in Albuquerque.
